joker 618 Posted January 14, 2015 I have never asked before on pricing for vinyl. But i am curious to know what one would charge for letters and numbers. Made some decals that were for a dump truck for the US DOT # and ICCMC# The lady wanted them the DOT # above the other number in a line.. I cut these at 4 inches tall by 28 inches long with easy as heck weeding.. Curious to know what most would charge for this.. I feel like i might have over charged
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted January 14, 2015 Usually 15-20 a pair. Only thing easier than dot numbers is cutting rectangles which I've done several times to cover old numbers on printed graphics.

slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 14, 2015 I would always tell the customer that my price is fair (at $30) -- compared to the ticket they got from the Transportation Police for $110 (which forced them to come in to get the numbers that they should have had to begin with)

slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 14, 2015 My $30 would include slapping them right onto the truck sides (first giving it a wipe-down with 70% isopropyl alcohol).
