Black Angus 0 Posted December 23, 2014 So my old printer died and I had to get a new one. I thought everything was good until I went to print a copy of my work. I get this message: "No printer selected or an error has occurred with the printer driver." Admittedly I am not computer or tech savvy so I am at a loss for what to do. Any help that doesn't fry my computer would be appreciated. Thanks, Angus
slice&dice 2,450 Posted December 23, 2014 Hey there angus, whazzup? "no printer selected" --- When you are in the Print view (File Menu -- PRINT) along the top there is a button/icon for setup. Click it. Within the dialogue box for Print Setup, there's a button "Printer Configure" -- Click it. Now you're within the standard Windows Print Setup, and there should be a drop-down list of available printers. Select your printer. Also, you might want to go into the PRINTERS control panel of Windows and right-click the new printer and make it the Default Printer.
