The new guy has a question.

Is there a way to use a Titan 2 cutter with Corel drawX6? I have only had my scal3 for a short period of time and don't feel totally confident enough to start production work from it. However if I could use corel draw or photoshop as my design software and just send it direct to my titan I may have better luck..

when I had mine I cut directly from corel as if it was a printer - it has true usb chipset - not emulated like the value cutters.

I could never get the scalp3 corel->scalp plugin to work here at all. And I really never got scalp3 to work acceptably and refuse to waste more money on beta testnig scalp4...

So I design in Corel, export as eps and import into Signblazer. Works fine for me but I don't do 'production'...

What I just found was go to ADD PRINTER, then choose your vinyl cutter. name.   This is a different vinyl cutter being set up in the instructions below.. but I would guess the same instructions would apply.  From this website.  I am just throwing it out there,,LOL    Might work, might not....

Eddie you are probably not going to have any kind of cutter control going direct assuming you can get it to work. I use SignCut Pro and it has plug-ins for most of the design programs that will let you cut from them if you want or you can just open the program and then open the file if it's in the right format and cut it. It is a paid program though or you can buy buy a dangle.

Thanks every one I was always a signblazer lover and can do anything in it I want to do as far as graphics but I can no longer get it to work with my titan2. I have been learning Corel and really liking it so I was just wondering if I could cut from it. As far as a cutting program scalp3 does ok other than when I need to mirror something but just to cut from I will just use it!

you can cut directly from corel with the titan.  I was experimenting with it when I sold mine.  if no one chimes in just call support but pretty sure I cut with it like a printer as the titan has a real usb chipset and no emulation chipset like the value cutters
