Using reflective vinyl for the first time

Recommended Posts

Did this on a pickup awhile back, its green with the white reflective outline.  Its on a white pickup so during the day you barely see the white reflective vinyl but at night it stands out a lot.  Good, bad, what do you think???

as for the reflective vinyl, I got some from someone to practice with, its pretty thick, does it get brittle when it gets old?

or does it just seem that way because maybe I didn't get it cut deep enuff?

Reflective tears easy no matter how new it is. Some brands are worse than others and if you didn't cut deep enough it just makes it worse

like Jay said - any metalicized film tears easier than regular vinyl and it is thick - also eats blades

I love the reflective look. I have never used it myself, hopefully someday I'll have someone want some so I can have a go with it.

I like that...and I like the word "metalicized" better. LOL!
