Decals on Scuba Tanks

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried decals on scuba tanks before? My brother is looking to mark his tanks and didn't know if a custom decal would be useable or not.

As long as cleaned and prep is done it should be no different then doing a boat or a buoy. I did a sailboat buoy for a friend at work and it has held up for two years now. I Used 751

Sorry, I've never had experience with decals and water. Would a printed decal work as well?

Printed decals are on cars, and trucks, sitting out in the rain. Why not? May want to overlap the laminate a quarter inch, or so.

iammandy, These are some of mine and my dive buddies tanks and as you can see the wraps are a decal and the inspection decal also. They will last for a while but will take some abuse :)
