skarekrow 1,842 Posted November 13, 2014 Yes... Send to Cutfile>Options> add Registration Marks select "Send" Next screen, just select (click 0n) the registration mark and drag a corner to make it any size you want. There are other options for adjusting them as well. Check "edit cutfile" at the bottom of the workspace and the object properties box on the right. Also, when in Cutfile, Menu>Object>Place Registration Marks Adjust them to the size you want and copy and paste them to each color layer.
CajunCustom 29 Posted November 14, 2014 i was looking for more of a replacement registration mark or to be able to choose a different type , like a pie chart or something like that , these ones seem to always come off and move too easy and are hard to see them lined up perfect
skarekrow 1,842 Posted November 14, 2014 You can always place (+ copy and paste) what/wherever you want for reg marks... just be careful about aligning them correctly on stacked layers.
skarekrow 1,842 Posted November 14, 2014 well, maybe not always. cant say I've actually used that feature in Vm but did just try a test file it and it is possible. I did not plot the file and check the reg marks but in the program stopped short at pasting the marks to the lower color layers. Not sure about changing the registration marks to what ever you wish, either. Seems that, for the color layers to be aligned correctly to each other, one needs to select 'add reg marks' when in the 'send to cutfile>options' module. This would limit to just using the provided shape marks. When using "place reg. marks" from the menu, you can use other shapes of your choosing however, the color layers don't seem to be stacked correctly in relation to one another.
