q75 contour cut

Recommended Posts

Is there anybody on here using the arms setup on a q75 cutter? I'm trying to figure out some stuff and would love to talk with someone with knowledge of this setup. My cutter says arms3.0 on the carriage but it isn't listed in the menus as being there and for all I know I could just be overlooking something simple.

According to the instructions on mine Fc7000.  You can push the KEY button  next to ORIGIN that reads.....       I am not at home right now will be tomorrow........  Go thru the menu,  NEXT, NEXT, NEXT, NEXT....  Look under advanced...F4...

AXIS/R.M.S. key: .....Press AXIS/R.M.S. to
initiate automatic reading of the regis-
tration marks. If Off has been selected for the registration

mark mode, this key is used to perform axis alignment

I would think your menu should be close to mine.

With the media set lever in the up position, hit the initial menu key. Do you have "Auto Reg. Mark" shown as an option in the menu? Should be the first option in the menu.

F1 has nothing there to select. F4 is to select command type. It should show arms on F1 which has me stumped and I know not all Q series have ARMS but this one has a badge on the carriage that says arms 3.0

That's what I was dreading. Heard so much about their customer support and not much of it was ever good.

Sorry I forgot..   In case you didn't get it

MENU>  then 3 NEXT,  you should see a BACK GROUND SETTING click  F2

Then go 12 NEXT,,,, my screen says  MARK AUTO SCAN   F3 is ON..  F4 is OFF

This is the place where I have seen it in BACK GROUND SETTINGS.   This is also where I disable the media and pinch roller sensors.
