I tried my best but this is WAAAAAYYY out of my league

So my boss really like this version of our unit logo and wants it on damned near everything.  Only problem is that it was hand drawn and the original is on where to be found.  Can I get some help on this one?  Thanks!

Quite honestly, excellent help with this one isn't likely to be free.

Are you planning on printing this or cut vinyl?

 

It's a pretty complex design for vinyl, even in a large version.

 

You wrote that your boss really liked this version but, you both may

want to work on a simplified rendition of it.

Cut it down to the most important elements.

Are all those ladders or that spider web really necessary?

They're really cluttering the design, IMO.

The text isn't particularly legible either.

 

I'm not trying to knock it, it's just more of an illustration than a logo.

Gonna take a few hours to make a usable graphic from it.

I fully understand cost will be involved.  

 

In terms of elements, the spiderweb is from part of our squadron logo and the other elements are our equipment we maintain.  The text is horrible I know.  Attached is how far I got before I got to the point of wanting to throw the computer off my balcony.

Is that a gradient on the tower? So, you're going with print & cut?
