Size of mh871

Recommended Posts

I'm getting ready to buy the 34" mh 871 cutter and I was wondering if anyone can give me full dimensions. I cannot seem to find them on the website or any other listings. I just want to clear out some space before hand so I don't have to do it after.

Even if I did make the step up to the SC cutter. It would be the 34" model as well. So I would still need the physical size of the machine weather it be the mh or sc. That is what I am asking for, i have read plenty of positive and negative review on both cutters.

They are all a close estimate of sizes on value cutters.  I have a 36"  Seiki    24"W  x 35-37"L  x 43"H

Did you consider the LPII? I have had no machine problems.  43" wide x 21" deep x 45" tall.  Those include the stand for height and depth.

Hi, just a heads-up ---   You'll need to have some clearance away from a wall because when long lengths of vinyl run through the unit, it will normally back-feed when cutting and you don't want it to hit the wall (creates huge static problems).

Using a media basket is a good solution. Neither the MH nor the SC can accommodate a media basket but the LPII will do so (for an extra few bucks). If I was to order a 'value cutter' today, the 32" LPII for $600 would be my choice  ---  and I have used both the MH and SC in the course of my sign-making over the years.
