KristenMarie 2 Posted October 7, 2014 My issue with the Keyspan tripp-lite that i am trying to install, It is not communicating no matter what i do. Is it possible that the serial cable that came with my machine is bad, and maybe i could purchase a new one, and that would help??? I have no clue what to do at this point, but nothing i try is allowing my computer to communicate to the cutter with the keyspan attached. And when i go back to my regular connection, as i DO need cuts made asap for orders, it is not cutting one single thing correct now, nothing. not font, not numbers, not a heart. it is going insane, all over the place. It is a new roll of vinyl straight out of the package. I am banging my head here, reaching for ANY help. please. MH series, 28in. using SCAL Pro. on Windows

slice&dice 2,450 Posted October 7, 2014 Download & install SignBlazer and see if the problem is software related. If you can cut with SB, then you eliminate this being a cable/machine (hardware) issue. http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/GetAttachment/190/24198 (use the RedSail driver)
darcshadow 1,626 Posted October 7, 2014 It's only a 2 to 3 hour time difference depending on Day Light Savings time so you shouldn't have to get up early to be able to get in touch with them.
