danlovejoy 0 Posted September 20, 2014 This is the main board for my wife's Silhouette-SD. The inside of the USB-B connector (plastic with metal contacts-not shown) broke off inside the machine. It looks like to me that someone could solder it back together, but I have neither the equipment nor the skills to do so. Actually, I'm pretty sure I could do this, but I'm not sure I could secure it properly to the board again. Where should I go to get this done? They fix worn out charging ports all the time, this would only differ in pin count, if that. 10-15 min job, if they have the part. Thanks! very easy fix I have a few of them usb ports.had to fix a us cutter laserpoint 1 cutter I brought took all but 2 minutes to fix lol.got about 20 more of these somewhere in my boxes. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
