Sal316 166 Posted September 27, 2014 Setup the Graphtec last night. Just doing the test cut made me realize I made the right choice. Cleancut blade is on order.

Seems like such a small investment looking back.
SeeJaysPlace 476 Posted October 26, 2014 Nice SeeJay congrats on the graphtec. I love my ce5000 model. i could of got a ce5000 for $900 or ce6000 for $1700 I went with the 6000 mainly cause of the down force diffrence and the bigger LCD Display heheheh.. The down force i wanted for sandblast vinyl i want to start doing head stones. I have a few now i want to try to make .. people that can't afford a big fancy one some is family! Sorry, but from the Graphtec site the specs for down force are the same, Both the Ce5000-40 and-60 up to 300gf Ce6000-40 and 60 up to 300gf Both models in -120 48" version are up to 450gf. You need the wider 48" unit to have more down force.. Your signature states your cutter is 24" I didn't want to see new buyers confused. http://www.graphtecamerica.com/docs/Datasheets/GAI_Book_Catalog_2012_CE5000_WEB.pdf http://www.graphtecamerica.com/docs/Datasheets/GAI_Book_Catalog_2013_CE6000_WEB.pdf

How thick is the media? I just bought one and want to use it for sandblasting granite. I'm completely new to this and and the specs say it won't cut greater than 10 mil. Most of sandblast mask that is spec'd for granite is 30-45 mil. Graphtec technical support won't answer the phone, and won't return messages. I need help!
