k_sanders_13 0 Posted September 10, 2014 Ok, guy and gals, I am in need of a little help here. I need to convert a few SBD files into EPS format or even SVG would probably work. Thanks guys
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted September 10, 2014 You can very easily do this your self... Why wait? Download Signblazer (FREE) Import the design and export the design as .eps... Look for Signblazer Elements and install. http://www.uscuttersupport.com/downloads.php
k_sanders_13 0 Posted September 10, 2014 I have signblazer, I use it daily but have never needed to use one of my designs in another program until now, once I have made a design and saved it, it only saves in SBD format, how can I convert those SBDs to EPS so I can open them in another program such as inkscape for example
mb20music 760 Posted September 10, 2014 Open your SBD file in SignBlazer and select your design and click on file > export > name the file > select eps
slice&dice 2,450 Posted September 24, 2014 Astonishingly enough, that same EXPORT feature provides for the option to generate .jpg files (which can be emailed as proofs to clients) or even .tiff files (another popular graphics-imaging format). Not a week would go by that I didn't have to export the design as a JPEG and forward it to a customer for approval. Just make sure you aren't sending a huge file (lower the size to a few hundred pixels, that's plenty for them to view it)
skarekrow 1,842 Posted September 24, 2014 ... just a heads-up for the OP . Inkscape doesn't import eps. format.
Go-C Graphics 856 Posted September 24, 2014 ... just a heads-up for the OP . Inkscape doesn't import eps. format. Really????? I do it all the time.
skarekrow 1,842 Posted September 24, 2014 GhostScript, Go-C? Cause, in standard installations, it does not. EPS is the VHS of formats. a dying dinosaur.
Go-C Graphics 856 Posted September 25, 2014 GhostScript, Go-C? Cause, in standard installations, it does not. EPS is the VHS of formats. a dying dinosaur. Oh yes. I have made that modification. LOL It may be a dying breed but at least it drops into Flexi UNLIKE SVG.
