Radioactiveman 2 Posted August 22, 2014 hello everyone, I ran across a ENCAD NovaJet 850 for sale, I have always wanted to dable in a little printing simple stuff like small show banners and decals rather than cutting it. I have no plans on doing wraps or anything else crazy like that. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this model and if would do what I m hoping it will do, I know they dont make it anymore but can I still get ink for it even and is it worth a damn? Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 22, 2014 it hasn't been in production for a LONG time - it uses aqueouus inks - parts are hard to get and inks were getting hard to find years ago. the company was later bought by kodak. one thing you will want to find is the belt for that model as both of them I had years ago to refurb and sell had the best just shread from age. for indoor work it will work but again is very low resolution.
