101LEDs 100 Posted August 14, 2014 I have searched the best I could for an answer but everything comes up as the first generation LP. Can you use the LPII with SB? I probably missed the answer or searched with the wrong abbreviations since I'm new here and to vinyl also. Thanks
slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 14, 2014 SignBlazer was created with hundreds of possible driver combinations for various manufacturers' plotter/cutters. The underlying Plotter "graphic language" was developed in the 1950's and 1960's by Hewlett Packard (HPGL) and has not been substantially changed ever since. You will be able to use the LPII with SB, yes, with a little bit of fooling around with various drivers (perhaps the LiYu). http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/44777-how-do-i-get-signblazer-to-recognize/#entry357174
101LEDs 100 Posted August 14, 2014 Ok, I do not get the Cannont initialize error now that I changed the comm. With Liyu, Roland pnc 1000, and the Redsail choices it refreshes/blinks the screen but nothing happens and no errors or boxes popup when trying to cut. Do I need to keep trying all the listed cutters? Or is there something else amiss? Thanks
slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 14, 2014 Doesn't appear that your cutter is getting data. Are you using USB? Serial? What about the Generic HPGL driver? Did you try other drivers as well?
