eddieb378 41 Posted August 12, 2014 Would my heat press being off 25 degrees cause my results to be off bad?
KYSIGN 233 Posted August 12, 2014 What do you mean off by 25 degrees? If the real temp is off from your thermostat just compensate if possible. If your press can't reach the required temp or has a large temp variance from corner to corner you will have poor results from my research.
eddieb378 41 Posted August 12, 2014 I can get it to the right temp but all this time when I had it set on 400 it was only around 375 376 area
eddieb378 41 Posted August 12, 2014 I figured this is why my sub work looked so bad
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted August 12, 2014 Too cold looks splotchy like you described. Too hot and you burn fabrics like I was doing. 385 is bare minimum to press at.
