Networking and introduction

Recommended Posts

I've been visiting this site for several months and have learned so much.  It is my first stop on the internet daily and I am grateful it is here for us.  Just realized that I never introduced myself since I usually kinda stay in the shadows until I get my bearings.  It occurred to me that there are several areas I would like to share and possibly network with others.

I live in Lovington, NM and I work in the oilfield as a contract pumper managing 12 Batteries for Chevron.  On days off I spend time learning my Roland GX-24.  If anyone is in this area I would enjoy networking for projects and developing skills and sharing some business ideas.  I also have pet crows that fly free.  (Oscar, Bingo and Murphy)  Known around here as the Crow Whisperer!  LOLOLOL  They are smarter than monkeys and have very strong family units like elephants.  I do lots of postings about my crows on facebook and you are welcome to stop by and see my blogs about them.  Just do a friend request to Suzanne Fairweather and join in the fun.

Again, thank you for all the help and knowledge you guys and ladies have shared.

Suzanne

What's the difference between crows and ravens?

I think ravens are smaller.

Basically size and attitudes made the difference.  There are 3 types of black birds - Greckels (smaller) Crows (medium) and Ravens (largest).  Crows and Ravens are smart and have distinct personalities.  All of mine fly free and eventually find mates and leave.  These are rescues I do since only the loudest babies get fed.  Some have fallen out of the nest or have been abandoned.  Working in the oil field in the middle of nowhere gives me lots of time to observe since I drive 300 miles per day.  These are protected birds and it is illegal to cage them.  Much more fun to watch them grow in a more natural environment.
