tooler82 182 Posted July 14, 2014 I have an EPS in Flexisign that I want to make black and white. Does anybody know how to take the color out and convert it to black and white?
skarekrow 1,842 Posted July 14, 2014 Don't know Flexi but, in Illustrator, I believe it's (select all) Edit> Edit Colors> Convert to Greyscale

skarekrow 1,842 Posted July 14, 2014 Tyler, if you downloaded the first one I uploaded, (106_SUPPORT_BN-DUI_Greyscale.eps) Go back and grab the second, (106_SUPPORT_BN-DUI_Greyscale2.eps). The first one had a layer out of order.

tooler82 182 Posted July 16, 2014 He's wanting something like this. He wants it camo, but too hard to camo all of that so I just did splotches. Still need the 155th BCT Patch Greyscale though.

tooler82 182 Posted October 7, 2015 Just FYI in case someone else searches for this. After reading online, etc, I found a way to do this in FlexiSign. Select the vector, click bitmap, Rasterize, resolution at 600dpi, Color Mode Grayscale, and ok. Trace the image to get it back vector, and that's it. I use the auto trace for this since it's a high quality grayscale it usually comes out pretty well.
