skorper 0 Posted July 1, 2014 I have NO problem cutting vinyl or rhinestone stencils; BUT when I try to contour cut heat transfer paper the world falls apart. 1.) IF I leave the registration marks at default, the paper tends to come out of the rollers. 2.) The magic eye doesn't always seem to find the registration marks. It misses the first one and then goes blind trying to find it. I use both AI and CorelDraw. Both produce Excedrin headaches. I really need this function at this time. Thank you in advance. MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted July 1, 2014 I do this quite often with scrap vinyl..that is just a little bit larger that the design. but not enough for the rollers. I turn the vinyl over and tape more vinyl to it on the underside, so the rollers still have vinyl to be on.. Wouldn't that work? I think others use a cutting mat also, to put the order on.. I don't contour cut, but this helps on vinyl. In different sizes. Its a Cameo cutting mat. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Silhouette-Cameo-Cutting-Mat-12-x-12/24630883
skorper 0 Posted July 1, 2014 I need to know what is the absolute minimum dimensions that the registration marks need to be from the corners., and why the magic eye doesn't always see the registration marks. It seems to work better if I use the transfer paper alone and not stuck to a carrier sheet. But either way, I am wasting WAY too much in practicing. Thank you for your input. MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted July 1, 2014 Did you watch this video on Graphtec? Not same cutter but same idea. http://www.graphtecamerica.com/graphtec-america-faqs-video-hardware-video-faqs-contour-cut
skorper 0 Posted July 2, 2014 I watched all the videos on Graphtec's website and Youtube. I believe that I am doing everything correctly. That is the frustrating part. Graphtec support doesn't answer their e-mails either. Steve
