LuckyGraphicsAZ 0 Posted June 30, 2014 I get this runtime error trying to import ai files from a sign clipart disc I received. when I click ok it crashes SCAL. darcshadow 1,626 Posted July 1, 2014 Inkscape on it's own can not open .ai files. Through the use of Ghostscript it can open so .ai files but not all. Depends on howt he file was originally saved and if there are any features being used that Inkscape does not support. I don't know anything about SCALP but I would guess it suffers from the same type of problem and may be able to open some, but not all .ai files. If you can open with Corel Draw, do that then save it as an EPS or what ever format you like that can be opend with SCALP Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
