garyinspringhill 1 Posted June 7, 2014 I'm about to release Tux Plot v4.0 for linux (Ubuntu) and would like some help with testing please. Just some simple tests to confirm features like xy speed, blade pressure, page eject, move to home etc. The devices needed for testing: USCutter Graphtec Redsail Rabbit and other manufacturer... Any help would be appreciated! securetech@eastlink.ca Thanks Gary
Robert H. Bigart 64 Posted June 21, 2014 Does work with other Linux Versions? Bob
garyinspringhill 1 Posted June 21, 2014 It will work out of the box in Ubuntu, Mint (any .deb based system) I had a client have it going in debian but had to do a bit of manual package installs due to name changes. It will work in fedora as long as the corresponding package name in the install script for Ubuntu is installed manually, the install scripts are basically Ubuntu (deb) oriented package names vary widely.
