Did you bend the post covers yourself or buy them premade? Haven't had a siding brake in 10 years but was wondering if it would be up to the task.

I bend the metal my self I have an 8 ft aluminum break but the .040 is too thick for it I use it for the home improvements windows, doors, soffits etc....i have access to a 10 tennsmith sheet metal break and an 8 ft sheetmetal break so the bending is no problem. I like the looks of the 6x6 covered post instead of the plastic post ( pvc ) hell I am even a dealer for the pvc post kits but prefer the larger look with the copper caps.

+1 on the look of 6x6 posts... makes 4x4's look like chicken legs.
