magaroni 0 Posted May 10, 2014 How do I get this to cut as it looks and not as a very thin outline? Does that make sense? Do I have to fix it in Inkscape or FlexiStarter 8? I'm so frustrated and I know it's something very simple but I just can't get my mind wrapped around it. I have searched on here (for hours) and also looked at Youtube videos for so long all I hear is Blah Blah Blah, all I want to do now is pull my hair out. Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted May 10, 2014 you trace it in either program so it is in a vector format the plotter can understand

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted May 10, 2014 the hardest thing for a newbie to wrap their head around is the difference in vector graphics - which are actually mathematical representation of a shape - unlike a raster graphic you are used to that is made up of pixels - it is a whole different critter.
