Production Manager Job Estimation

Recommended Posts

So I think I've been messing up on charging units for their materials. I'll give you an example. In Production Manager under Job Estimation it says Job Coverage: .21 sq. ft. (x8) $0.54. Is it telling me that all 8 decals were $0.54 or is it $0.54 each for a total of $4.32?

I'm unfamiliar with this tool, but if each decal is about 5" square then then that would be the 0.21sq.ft. of material and 54 cents for materal cost would be about right for a signel decal. If each decal is about 3.5" square then all 8 would fit inside the 0.21sq.ft. of material and 54 cents would be the cost of materal for all 8 decals. So the question is, how big is the actual decal?

The graphic shows .482 Ft x .435 Ft = .21 Sq Ft which is correct (.20967 Sq Ft)

Do all 8 of the decals you are cutting fit within that size or is that the size of each decal?

Do you have correct material costs set up in your production manager?

Yes I've set up the correct price in. After doing my math, I've figured out it's .21 sq ft per decal x 8 = 1.68 sq ft. The 3M vinyl we use is $.32 sq ft so the $.54 is the total. Lol. My brain hurts now.
