LKline 4 Posted April 18, 2014 Starting to get frustrating. Anything over 4 inches I have to stand here and constantly raise it a little over the ruler so it doesn't ruin a straight line of text. Gets caught on this ruler and snags the vinyl. Even bent the end of the vinyl but there's always one small section that catches no matter what.
pshawny 410 Posted April 18, 2014 My old Laserpoint use to do that. Put a strip of vinyl or tape across it. I think that notch is there to mount something that allows you to run flat-stock material through it.
darcshadow 1,626 Posted April 18, 2014 Same here, put some scotch tape on it and haven't had a problem since.
Ravenwind / One Off Grafx 187 Posted April 18, 2014 You can also just bend up that edge a touch. But the tape idea works great.

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted April 19, 2014 the ruler itself causes that and most put tape over it but the extra groves area actually for these http://www.uscutter.com/Flatbed-Tray-for-Creation-PCut-Set-of-
