tyamp 0 Posted April 14, 2014 Just got cutter and was following demo step by step until i loaded vinyl. i hit left and rt arrow the blade moved, but when i hit up and down the vinyl never moved. please help this is my second cutter in 2 monthsSilhouette cameo stopped working properly after about 2 weeks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

While we would love to help, your problem is most likely best referred to Customer Support for them to understand what steps can be taken. Maybe there is a malfunction in the motor that spins the grit rollers, maybe the pressure rollers are not making contact, maybe the grit rollers are not tightened on the axle (they're affixed with allen screws, you can check to see if the screws are tight) It could even be a motherboard problem. Vermonster 111 Posted April 14, 2014 Silly question but in your steps noted above to the OP, you didn't mention if you locked the grit rollers down using the levers on them. I know it's remedial based on you having another plotter (Cameo) but I'm not familier with the feed system on that and if it's set up the same on this plotter.
