rglazer 0 Posted April 5, 2014 I just got my LaserPoint II cutter today and connected it to my Windows 8 laptop. Installed drivers from the SCALPro disk and the LP2 showed up as a unspecified device in Printers and Devices. SCALPro didn't detect it at all. So I bought a Dynex USB-to-Serial cable and it still didn't show up. So I connected it to my Windows 7 laptop and installed the drivers from the SCALPro disk and the LP2 failed to show up as a device. Am I missing something here? I even tried older Vista drivers and the COM port was 1 and then I tried COM4. No luck. I would think this cutter should be plug and play. Any help appreciated.
