vinyl rear rollers

my uscutter did not come with a stand it came with a little plastic roller to put the vinyl on

and when i put a roll of vinyl on the wheels cut into the vinyl

when the vinyl comes out of the cutter it as 2 cuts in it from the wheels

must be the weight  i am talking about a roll of  vinyl 50 yds x 24 inches

any ideas around this

Those wheels are pretty narrow for supporting a 50yd roll. I haven't had the issue of the wheels cutting in but I'm done with that lil cheap plastic thing. I'm going to make me a mini-stand. I bought a couple of feed supports for cutting wood on sale at sears. I'm going to take the rollers out and use them in the stand i'm going to build.

Until the roll of vinyl gets a little lighter... I would suggest to pre-cut you vinyl.

Not only will it mark the vinyl, but since it's so heavy... the pinch rollers may not have enough down force to keep the material moving. I've experienced this with a 15" x 50yrd roll of vinyl, I can only imagine how much heavier a 24" roll is.
