brinty 0 Posted December 29, 2013 Ok, so I have been cutting vinyl for a few years and have always used RTape ApliTape 4075. I am looking to start shipping orders and was wondering if that is still the best application tape to use. I will be rolling my larger vinyl wall decals to ship. What application tape is best for Oracal 651 vinyl that is rolled into a shipping tube?
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted December 29, 2013 Beware on the 651, it can remove the paper from wallboard with it when the customer removes it
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted December 29, 2013 If your going to be making wall art, why not use the vinyl that is for wall art? . Oracal 631. It is also matte colors, so that the lighting does not glare off of it. This is the tape for Oracal 631 http://www.uscutter.com/ORATAPE-HT55-Decorative-Film-Transfer-Tape-for-631-Vinyl

fuz 3 Posted January 15, 2014 I used R-tape as my first application tape. My second roll was defective so I stopped believing in it. I have since used GreenStar medium and it works well for me using 651. I also use a couple other brands but this one I use the most of. You can check it out here. They also sell samples. Online reviews are the best thing ever.
