karkess 28 Posted October 6, 2013 I can only assume that those who've been doing this for years have a huge library of vector graphics. Is it best to buy a set from USCutter or someplace else? Or just grab what you need one at a time? How do you stay cutting edge? Like those stick figures everyone has, there are a million different ones out there, who makes those? Where did you get yours? Obviously I have a lot to learn and my cutter should be here early this week and I am snagging freebies as much as possible, and some are just garbage that my recycle bin doesn't even want. Thanks in advance
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted October 6, 2013 There are tons of clipart collections on ebay. Always a good place to start.
dwp99 283 Posted October 6, 2013 One suggestion now that you are starting your library is to organize now while you don't have that many. Come up with a system, it will make it easier to find the one you need.
OWJones 1,981 Posted October 6, 2013 The best quality set of stick figure clip art I've found is at http://www.myvinyldesigner.com/ They sell a lot of other designs, too. The best deal on clip art I have found is available from this vendor on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/sch/grafxuwant/m.html?item=321211791573&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ac9b6f8d5&_sop=16&LH_Auction=
slice&dice 2,450 Posted October 7, 2013 http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/GetAttachment/190/24198 There is a built-in LIBRARY of useful items within the SBE program. Not a week goes by without me going into the Draw menu and choosing some little accent graphic from that Library. Separators, Templates, Scrolls, Hand Pointers, Arrows, Ampersands, Sports, Skull&Crossbones (in Signs/Safety Signs/Chemical Hazard), Logos and Trademarks, etc etc etc. As a sign-maker, I realize the importance of sometimes having a visual element to add to the words & message.
