Roland VS 540 - Sheet cutting failure?

Recommended Posts

Got to the shop this morning and on the first project I needed to print the sheet cut isn't working.

It's obviously not a job-stopping issue, but it's also a brand new machine.

I've checked off everything, the blade is in the correct place, etc.

One thing I've noticed is once the carrier moves to the left side of the machine (before it cuts) it makes a snapping sound (when the blade is lowering?), that sound is not being made now.

The carrier moves over to the left, pauses (like normal) and proceeds to shoot to the right as if it's cutting the material.

Basically, it's doing everything like normal when I sheet cut, except actually cutting the sheet.

If anyone has any ideas to make my day easier than exacto-ing it out every time lemme know.

Thanks!
