slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 15, 2013 What is preventing the floor of the tunnel on the top from collapsing? And while I'm evaluating the un-reality of the drawing, I hope everyone knows that diamonds in the ground look like THIS -- Hope everyone gets a chance to see the movie "JOBS" coming out this weekend. I think the guy on the bottom there looks a little like Steve Jobs.

BannerJohn 1,324 Posted August 18, 2013 From a business standpoint, Jobs was a genius. From a personal standpoint, he was an asshole.

They upgraded to a gas burner in the living room around the early 90's Kid Rock country ..........yeah we actualy had a coal mine on our farm that my Dad and two Uncles worked and managed to make a living from it. We also burnt wood and cooked on a wood cook stove. The old coal heaters of that time was very uneffecient sending most of the heat up the chimney. We carried our water in in metal water buckets and many mornings there was a skim of ice in the bucket where the coal heater burnt downing during the night.
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted August 19, 2013 My grandparents went from wood to coal back to wood (my grandmother couldn't stand the dust from the coal) and finally to oil. Now I live in the south and most don't know anything about coal or oil.
