The Tint Guy 0 Posted March 12, 2008 I have been tinting for about 20 years as my main business, I started doing signs about a year ago. What I would like to find out is if anyone has used the Pcut for tint and if so can I get advice on; blades best suited for tint, blade pressures and stuff like that? I'm not looking to cut out automotive windows, I just want to be able to cut designs for storefronts, etc. Thank You
darkdan 3 Posted March 12, 2008 You can do it one of two ways and both require a 30 degree blade and a lot of practicing with pressure. Basically....very very light. You can spend days adjusting blade depth and pressure. Or you can put application tape on the liner, and then run it through the plotter. Obviously doing it the first way produces something that is much easier to install. You'll also need low-tack application tape for the install.
The Tint Guy 0 Posted March 12, 2008 I'll order up some 30 degree blades and start messing with it. Thank you
