MH cutter not cutting the entire usual cutting area

I have had my cutter for 6 months or so and the last two days it has started not cutting to the end of the cutting area.  It makes a very thin cut so you can see the outline of the cut but doesn't cut through to the depth of the remainder of the image.  I appreciate greatly if any one has had this experience or knows a fix for this.   Thanks

Make sure your cut strip isn't grooved deeply. If it is not in 1 particular area across the cutter it is probably something else and someone with more experience with this may help. When my LP 1 started doing that it ended up being the carriage but it was a lot older than yours and wore slap out.
