you can always tell the ones who don't have a clue. They just can't seem to hide it.

Remember they don't ask because they can't search, they're just making sure you know the answer. Honest...

Seriously.

The sign business has been good to me, as has US Cutter. No reason to waste a minute on these obvious questions.

I come here for the rare wisdom, and breeze through the rest... There are no perfect answers...ever

Take care, Mark

I have an entire WorldBook set on the shelf, and it was NEVER opened by my son (he is now 21).

I sure wouldn't want to be an encyclopedia salesman these days!

slice&dice,

I gained most my knowledge as a kid from World Book. Serious.

No offense to you, but your son is a fool!

(kidding)

Take care, Mark

I used to literally just sit and READ at random through the volumes, finding out about the world around us and learning about our civilization.

It made me a better person, I would venture to say.

I'm saving these and not getting rid of them, I want my grandson/granddaughter to experience the joy of reference books.

(Although they are from the 1990's, the information about history is still valid, albeit not updated to the 21st century)
