How about these price calculations?

Recommended Posts

Put this together.... used the L + H / 2 method. Added 1% per complexity and 60% per additional color on multi-layer stickers. How does this compare to everyone elses calculations?

Looks pretty close to the online RTA calc + my +$2.50 per stickers under 10"

It's not LxW /2    The calculation is L+W /2

Thanks for the correction... just typed it wrong on the post. Its correct on the sheet

N-P

Pricing is one of the most asked-about questions, second only to "My cutter stopped working -- why?"

Followed by which cutter do I need ?

You got THAT right !!!   ;D

(and you ended up on the receiving end of a slew of good advice regarding that topic, leading to a wise decision, I feel)

So I made this because there wasnt much available out there, to help myself and others with the same questions. And all I get back are a bunch of smartass comments.

Thanks guys...

When you say "there wasn't much available", you mean other than the dozens of forum threads and posts already covering pricing calculations?

And those are just from the 1st page of the Business Practices sub-forum.

It's not that no one appreciates your work, it's just that this topic has been covered numerous times before and there are already pricing calculators on the forums.  And no one calculator solution will work for every one, or even every job.

So, thank you for your work!

it just shows that when you put in your dimension of your graphic it shows how many square inches of vinyl its going to use then above it is the cost per square inch. then i have to the option bar to adjust my markup as i feel needed and then payment type so that way if a customer pays with paypal it just adds in the 4 percent or what ever and if they pay with a credit card then it just adds the 3.2% for that giving me my total charged cost for everything.
