Ericjgidney 0 Posted March 22, 2013 First time user and I did a graphic but did not want to cut just yet so I attempted to save see the file but when I open I receive "invalid project type" error. Car8Chief 14 Posted March 22, 2013 I had issues with some earlier version files not loading and I re-associated my SCUT2 and SCUT3 project files with SCAL 3 Pro, and now they open fine. Give it a try. Hope this helps. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
usbass99 0 Posted August 25, 2014 I had the same problem with the "invalid project type" error. I remember though this started happening after I installed the Adobe Illustrator plugin (which by the way only works with anything CS3 and before.I did what Car8Chief did and it worked just fine.
