New day new problems. I was trying cut a decal 30 inches long X 4 inches in width not a very big decal

the Blade went to the end of the 30 " and started then after doing the fist letter it stopped

waiting was on the LCD  them I rebooted the computer becuse it was froze

the next attempt it went down cut the first letter and was on the way back  I thought it was going to do the first letter but

it didn't stop the vinyl came out and the rollers kept on turning didn't stop until i

turned the machine off, then i reloaded the vinyl

and tried to forward it to past the 30 inches and back to check tracking  it went half way and just stopped

nothing on the Keypad worked  6 mths old and a piece of crap

I was having similar problems with mine. I switched to serial connection and the problems went away. USB ports on these machines are not very good.

Would you happen to have another computer to try to determine if it is a computer issue or a cutter issue?

This has been a good solution for a few people I have heard. USB and Windows can be tempermental, and an alternative connection method is more stable.

But I keep saying my Cutter didn't come with serial it as only one hook up USB

I guess that would make it difficult to use a Serail cable then. Have you tried other USB cables? Tried different USB ports on the computer? Made sure nothing else was hooked up to the USB?

it says it doen't recognize the USB connection you have to choose a com connection

Looks like the software only reads up to COM5, so you need to make sure you have the USB COM port set to 3-5 only.
