Sweetcheeksinoc 0 Posted January 30, 2013 Does anyone know what type of paper I can use as a substrate without the paper tearing when I apply the adhesive tape to it? I've cut out my design, weeded it but need to apply it to some type of paper so I can frame it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
OWJones 1,981 Posted January 30, 2013 Is there any reason it needs to be removed from the backing layer? Can you not just frame it as is without using any application tape? If you want to transfer it to a specific paper, I would recommend trying a low-med tack paper tape instead of a clear plastic tape, as it seems to peel off easier.
