twentythreemx 3 Posted January 23, 2013 Hi everyone. was wondering if anyone has ever thought of trying to use mod podge over top of a banner to help keep it sealed good? I just did one and a few spots are kind of loose and im nervous about it.. dont want to hand it over and 3 days later letters are fallinng off. anyone ever use it? just wonder how it would work if its flexible or not..or if it would make it too glossy
mabscotthandyman 1,410 Posted January 23, 2013 You should have no problem if your banner was cleaned properly and using a quality vinyl . If the vinyl is not adhered well I would not try to seal it . Personaly I would remove the loose vinyl , clean very well then clean with rubbing alcohol before laying the new vinyl . And no I would not deliver it with any loose lettering . bigmax 166 Posted January 26, 2013 Agree with Dan. Don't deliver with loose letters. Good way to lose a future customer and a bad rep.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 26, 2013 eactly what Dan said - it must be clean to start usually cleaning with Rubbing alcohol - anything you put over it will probably crack or yellow causing ,more problems
