Copam 2500 with Windows 8 driver not installing tried bcdedit

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am trying to get my Copam 2500 working again,  I am using the USB to serial port and have tried downloading the driver and using this process:

1. Open the Windows command promt as "Run as Administrator".
2. Run "bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" (without the "").
3. To finalize the process run "bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON" (without the "").
4. Reboot and you're done.

All I get is the COM 4 with the exclamation point and it will not populate in my cutting software, is there a fix to this?  Im in a jam and need a quick fix.
