mcshank 5 Posted December 29, 2012 What you should be able to do & what you can do are two different things with this new software. You should be able to just import it into SCAL with the 4th icon Import command. I know SCAL doesn't import just any ai though. So if you post your ai file on this forum I would be happy to convert it to something that SCAL can import. I'm kinda new at this software myself but I do have a lot of resources for converting images to various formats available to me. mcshank 5 Posted January 10, 2013 SCAL version 2.44 imported the AI file without any trouble. I went ahead & converted it to EPS for ya though. I'm not sure how it would cut. It seemed to have a lot more layers than I'm used too. I keep a roll of paper handy to test any cutting I'm unsure about. That way I don't waste any vinyl.
