singcut+mac+us cutter SC > scaling = bad

my cutter is scaling my files up to the wrong size -

process=

ill.5 writing an ill.3 .eps, open in signcut, reading correct dimentions

then

in preview mode lists dimentions larger

then

cuts file larger than designed

wasting vinyl like mad!!!

make it stop?

are you sure you have it on the correct measurement? Metric or inches?

Calibrate...

Use pen and paper until you get it figured out and stop wasting vinyl.

weather it is metric or inches it is coming out LARGER than the file is.

and yes it is on inches everywhere.

it's about 130% larger (on something that is 4.5"). could it be that out of whack?

In cutter set up, In Sign cut there is: calibrate cutter size.. Try that

thanks! it was way off before calibration, minor ajustment, now it is right on.
