RocketRollinSX 2 Posted December 4, 2012 Does anyone have this snowflake on hand already? I tried to draw it but when I import the EPS the image skews and I cant seem to figure out why. Got a 40 mug/glass etching job to do with it. Thanks!!! http://www.vectordia...lakes-tutorial/
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted December 5, 2012 so show us what you have...maybe we can figure it out. And does it have to be that snowflake or any snowflake that looks nice? If something else would work, there are some nice ones here..that are FREE http://all-silhouettes.com/snowflake/
xpaperman 719 Posted December 5, 2012 I have a question..... does corel draw have like an "array"? I mean is you traced by hand and scaned, you could draw 1/4 of this (to save time) then just array it in corel. I am not sure if array is the right word or not. I have used autocad for years and that is the term there.

xpaperman 719 Posted December 5, 2012 Try This. I saved the picture. Converted to bitmap, cleaned it up a bit and took out the blue lines then retraced it in corel. snowflake15.EPS
xpaperman 719 Posted December 5, 2012 I was just wondering if this worked for you?
RocketRollinSX 2 Posted December 5, 2012 Im gonna have to try to redo my AI file. I really need the lines to be perfect for this. Tracing seems to make them all rounded when I need crisp.
xpaperman 719 Posted December 5, 2012 ok, well sorry that didn't work. Does it need to be that exact snowflake design?
bikemike 711 Posted December 5, 2012 I am a bit confused on this thread, but I will try. How about this one? It is from the AI file you linked. Snowflake.eps
RocketRollinSX 2 Posted December 6, 2012 Thanks for everyones help. Im pretty sure I figured it out. I imported it into SB and did a total weld and that seemed to do the trick. I just need to clean up the tips of the flake and I should be good. Thanks again to everyone who chimed in on this thread!!
