I'm new to this and just recently purchased the CTE630. I've been nothing but frusterated with it ever since. I'm having problems with it cutting the letters up and dragging vinyl as it cuts, problems with it not cutting the letters all of the way through and sometimes just randomly missing letters all together. Maybe I have my blade pressure wrong, but I've tried a million different things and just keep wasting vinyl, time and money as I'm not able to make the signs I need to. Please, please help me in anyway you can. Thanks.

I don't think it is the blade pressure as much as the amount of the blade you have sticking out of the holder. There should be just enough of the blade out to cut the vinyl without citting the backing paper.

Ok, I just adjusted the blade and will try it. What blade pressure to you recommend?

It depends on the vinyl. Just experiment and see what works best.

For most vinyl, make sure the blade is barely sticking out of the blade hodler and use a pressure setting of 120-150.
