So I need to send a file and it has to be a .eps file in CS3 or higher. I have had NO luck moving it out.

I'm confused.

Are you trying to export a .eps file from SignBlazer to open in Illustrator or export an .eps file from Illustrator to open in SignBlazer?

If you are trying to export from Illustrator, it nees to be exported as an .eps 8 or earlier.

I have a file in SignBlazer. I need to email it to a customer so that a factory in China can put his logo on some products he is making. They need it is a .EPS is AI version CS3 or higher. CS3 I have. But when I bring up SB and go to

<- File

- Export - The file does not show up.

Basically need to get the SBD file out and save it as a EPS

Select .eps as the export format

Identify the export location directory

Uncheck the "Selected" box if you want to export the entire SB file

Clcik OK

Open Illustrator

Open the .eps file saved out of SB

File + Save As

Select .eps

Click Save As

Select the AI EPS version to save as

Click OK

Open the file in SB> Select ALL> Export as >EPS (make sure you know where it exported too.) Open AI. Import or Open ( Sorry I am drawing a blank on which it is.) the file in AI. Select all again Then save as an EPS file

They are the same method my way just eliminates the risk of not unchecking the "Selected" box in the export screen for SB

It gives you a warning if nothing is selected.

Okay...this solved it all. I watched the video also. I was just going to "FILE" and then export, looking for the file and not seeing it. Now I went and OPENED the file I wanted to export and it looks like i was able to do it. I was able to open it in AI and "save as" the CS3 type. So now to just email my customer and see what happens.

thank you for the help again!
