JoAnns 0 Posted July 11, 2012 I just applied some graphics that had been sitting for a few months already masked. The mask is clear. I removed the mask after applying the graphics and the mask left a sticky residue on the finished vinyl. Does anybody have ideas of how to remove the residue without damaging the vinyl adhesion? Thanks in advance for your ideas!!
Dr12volt1338 116 Posted July 11, 2012 I would just use my app fluid... (baby shampoo and water) or windex...

markvvq 14 Posted July 11, 2012 Try a quick wipe with alcohol or mineral spirits.
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted July 11, 2012 goo-gone. If you can't find any, plain old charcoal lighter fluid should do it. Just don't leave the rag lying around.
geminis076 1 Posted October 10, 2012 I know this is old but for future viewers, WD-40 works great for removing adhesive, if Goo-Gone is not available. I would use a Q-tip for good control of the area to be cleaned.
