codstero2 0 Posted June 13, 2012 I have a US Cutter MH 721 and this is the first time I have cut a 12' long sticker. Got first 3 cut no problem now the last one keeps tracking off. ANY IDEAS
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted June 13, 2012 are you pulling 12ft of vinyl free from the roll before you are cutting it? Like 12 ft of slack...The cutter should never be pulling directly from the roll when cutting... You can only line it up straight and keep prefeeding until it is straight and lined up. It takes practice.
codstero2 0 Posted June 13, 2012 I am giving it 12' of slack when I set it up. I have lined it up stright and prefeed it. It does not go off the same every time. Do the pinch roller preload have any thing to do with this?
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted June 13, 2012 yes, pinch rollers are involved with the vinyl feeding straight. As well as the grit rollers on the bottom.
Dragonduster 4 Posted June 18, 2012 i have cut it with my cutter pulling it form the roll fine, it has those 2 rollers and make it easy to pull unless i put the 1100' roll kraft paper lol
