Patty'sGraphix

Hello All New to the site

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Even though my screen name is Patty'sGraphix my name is Mark. We named the business after my wife.

Well I got my new cutter yesterday and cannot wait to hit the ground running. However my machine came with zero instructions. We did get the base all setup, and the cutter is bolted to the base. (helps to be a mechanic)

Now for the problem, I turn the cutter on and a loud buzzing noise is coming from the cutter. I believe this is due to the cutter head being parked but I have no instructions on how to unpark it. It is a series sc cutter. Any and all help would be appreciated.

After a week or so when I am done setting up my website I would be more than glad to help people with thiers. As we got into this as a hobby / business because I am disabled with no use of my legs. So I will have plenty of time to give back to the community.

Thank you uscutter for this community and allowing people to start lucritive businesses on short budgets.

Mark

After I move it by hand it goes all the way to the right hand side and now I see the noise is it wants to go further than possible.

Sounds like it needs to be "rehommed" call customer support and get a service ticket put in. I am not familiar with those machines at all but I know with my VE there is a way to reset it as some were having issues with them wanting to go past there home position.

a quick call to support and I found out the carriage was not properrly seated so it wasn't hitting the green switch in the back.

GREAT customer support THANKS Benjamin.

Now to wait for the supplies so I can get started hopefully I see them today.

Thanks also to you guys for trying to help out.

heh ... got the head on but the belt fell off during the process.

Benjamin in tech support is tired of hearing my voice today. Scott answered first and wanted to play twenty questions about how the belt fell off... I don't know how the dang belt fell off just tell me how to put the dang thing back on.

Benjamin great tech up and running in minutes. Scott not so much he needs people skills training or another coffee.

Thanks for the welcome Dan great to be here on another adventure in life.

Mark

Up and running, congratulations!! You'll be one of the more 'hands-on' contributors here, I have a feeling.

Oh yeah, it's a bummer when your belt falls off ---
