TurboRGV 0 Posted February 13, 2012 Hi all, I have been lurking for a while but in need of some advice. The gym I train at will be getting a cage in the next few weeks and there is definitely potential for me to do so work on it if possible... I only own a vinyl cutter and Im fairly new and still learning every day and having fun doing so! I was wondering if it is vinyl placed onto the canvas floor or is it printed on beforehand? Would I be able to do the uprights etc? Attached a picture for reference. Thanks for any help or advice. Reece
SeeJaysPlace 476 Posted February 19, 2012 Good Question.. i would love to know this to.. since my main sponcer is http://www.dwbfightgear.com and they want to get there logo on the cage floor as well!!
slice&dice 2,450 Posted February 19, 2012 For sure not vinyl -- it would get destroyed in the first round. Printed on canvas is my assumption, but that's a HUGE piece of material.
markvvq 14 Posted February 19, 2012 Even on awning storefronts it has to be heat applied. The regular vunyl will not stick! Mark
warrior35 2 Posted February 21, 2012 I would say that it is definitely heat applied on the floor, but you could definitely do the posts and the top of the cage.
